Wisła II Kraków's defeat against Wisłoka Dębica
The Kraków team failed to break their losing streak, and their league match against Wisłoka Dębica ended in a particularly painful fashion. Although they controlled the match for over 80 minutes and led 1-0, they let victory slip away in the final moments, ultimately losing 1-2 after conceding late goals. Szymon Kawała scored the only goal for the White Star.
The Krakow team started the match in impressive style. In the eighth minute, a precise pass from Karol Tokarczyk opened the scoring for Szymon Kawała. The Wisła striker controlled the ball brilliantly, lost a defender with a single dribble, and flawlessly beat Paweł Sokół in a one-on-one situation. This goal set the tone for the match, with the hosts taking the initiative and controlling the game. Wisła consistently built up their attacking play, trying to surprise their opponents. They made several dangerous runs into the penalty area, but often lacked the finishing touch. In the 27th minute, Kawała proved to be a real challenge for the visitors, forcing Sokół into a spectacular save with a long-range shot. Karol Tokarczyk and Dawid Olejarka also had chances in this period, but they were unable to find the back of the net, guarded by the Dębica goalkeeper. Wisłoka, in turn, responded only late in the first half. After a corner kick, Michał Bogacz shot a dangerous volley, but Anton Chichkan was on guard and confidently caught the ball.
Dramatic ending
After the break, the home side's play continued to favor the home side for a long time. In the 57th minute, Wisła created another opportunity and could have sealed the game, but Dawid Gap's shot was imprecise. As time ticked on, Wisłoka began to attack with increasing boldness, but the Kraków defense effectively held off threats for a long time. The visitors, fully motivated, began to disrupt the home side's advances, eager to strike back. They only succeeded in their goal in the closing stages. In the 88th minute, Chichkan made a poor save after a cross into the penalty area, sending the ball straight to Sebastian Fedan's feet. The Wisłoka player didn't waste the opportunity and leveled the score from close range. In stoppage time, the tide completely turned against the home side. After a mix-up in the penalty area, the ball bounced off the crossbar, and the alert Iwo Kupidura completed the task, giving the visitors the winning goal. Wisła were unable to respond.
