It wasn't a good day for Wisła Kraków, which lost 1-2 to Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza in the 17th round of Fortuna 1st league matches. Szymon Sobczak scored the only goal for the White Star from the penalty spot.

The White Star players entered the match aggressively, utilizing their pressing tactics. In the sixth minute, Sobczak forced Loska into an error, but his pass was off target to Duda, who would have had a perfect chance. Six minutes later, Radwański attempted a long-range shot but his shot was off target. Baena could have responded with a goal, but he made a slight error.

Moments later, Sobczak and Baena had chances to score, but the former failed to get a shot off and the latter fouled in attack. In the 26th minute, Miki Villar was called for a foul in the penalty area, prompting the referee to consult VAR. After reviewing the video, he deemed the White Star midfielder fouled. Szymon Sobczak stepped up to the ball from the 11-meter mark, giving Wisła the lead.

In the 35th minute, Termalica scored, but the referee wasn't sure whether it was fair and VAR gave him the answer. Łukas Spendlhofer scored to make it 1-1. The hosts scored again before the break, this time through Florin Purece.

No goals after the break

Wisła's reaction to the action on the pitch came at halftime, when Bartosz Talar replaced Igor Sapała in midfield. This allowed the Kraków side to attack more boldly, to which their opponents attempted to respond with counterattacks.

The next changes in the White Star team also did not bring any goals, although Goku, for example, was looking for a way into the opponent's net.

The final phase of the match saw the referee again experiencing uncertainty. After a foul on Uryga, he checked whether the Wisła defender had fouled his opponent, but ultimately decided that he had not. Five minutes later, Branecki was close to scoring, but the ball went wide of Raton's goal.

In stoppage time, the R22 players pressed the ball into the net, but the referee decided it was an offside position and the three points remained with Nieciecza.
