Breaking the spell of the league: #ŁKSWIS preview

On Tuesday, September 17th at 7:30 PM, Wisła Kraków will play its outstanding league match at the Municipal Stadium in Łódź. The White Star will face local rivals ŁKS in the fight for points.

This clash, originally scheduled for the first round of the Betclic 1 League, raises several interesting questions ahead of its start. The most important question is how both teams will fare. The recent clashes between Wisła and ŁKS were incredibly close and competitive, with fans witnessing a significant number of goals. Will Wisła manage to overcome their offensive weakness and end Łódź's winning streak?

Łódź Sports Club is currently on a four-game winning streak. Credit must go to our opponents' defense, who haven't conceded a goal in their last three matches. Jakub Dziółek's team started this season poorly, but after a few weeks, they were climbing near the top of the table. This is a good example of how much can change in a short space of time in football.

This will undoubtedly be a special match for coach Kazimierz Moskal. Our coach led the Polish national team from 2018-2020 and then from 2022-2023. His return to the bench at Ełk proved particularly successful, as his team finished the season at the top of the table and earned promotion to the Ekstraklasa. Tonight, however, all such highlights will take a backseat, with victory and a return to Krakow with a perfect record remain the only goal!
