Set a winning course. Wisła's reserves will face Wisłoka Dębica.
After a tough lesson from Avia Świdnik, Wisła Kraków's second team will have a chance to rehabilitate themselves. On Saturday afternoon, the Kraków team will travel to Dębica, where they will face Wisłoka at 5:00 PM in the 28th round of the Third League.
The White Star certainly hasn't forgotten their autumn clash with this opponent. Five goals were scored at Prądniczanka's stadium back then, but the visitors from Podkarpacie scored one more, winning 3-2. Now Wisła will be looking not only to avenge that defeat but also to get back on the winning track after their disappointing performance against Avia.
Wisła has had a mixed few weeks, with impressive victories on the one hand and painful setbacks on the other. Their recent defeat to Avia was even more painful because it came at home and ended their winning streak. Now, coach Karol Nędza's players will have another opportunity to demonstrate their good form and fight for valuable points.
Wisłoka also has something to prove, having lost 2-1 to Podlasie Biała Podlaska in the previous round, and will be looking to capitalize on their home field advantage this time around. The Dębica team sits 10th in the table with 39 points, eight more than Wisła, who are in 12th place.
Saturday promises to be a fierce and close game. The Krakow team will need determination, focus, and efficiency to take three points from a difficult field and once again believe they're capable of more than just mid-table football.
