We don't stop and we win against Podgórze Kraków
The White Star players are continuing their winning streak, defeating Podgórze II Kraków 7-0 in an away league match. Goals for the Reymont team were scored by Katarzyna Kuciel, Julia Łoboz, Adrianna Sobolewska, Małgorzata Kołodziejska (two), Kinga Łatka, and Monika Markiewicz.
Coach Mateusz Król's players showed great intensity from the outset, developing their first coherent attacks and firing shots towards the opposing team's goal. The results were not long in coming, as in the fifth minute, Katarzyna Kuciel, following a pass from Adrianna Sobolewska, found herself one-on-one with the Podgórze goalkeeper and managed to beat her, opening the scoring. Seconds later, Wisła Kraków again had another shot on target, this time through Julia Łoboz. The White Star player struck the ball with her left foot, which bounced off the crossbar and into the net. In the first half, the visitors continued to press their opponents, searching for further scoring opportunities, but were unable to extend their lead.
Another five goals and three points
After the break, Reymont's players consistently executed their goals, forcing their way into the Podgórze penalty area. In the 64th minute, Kinga Łatka passed the ball to Adrianna Sobolewska, who soon found herself in a one-on-one situation and slotted the ball into the net, extending her team's lead. However, that wasn't the end of the game, as fifteen minutes before the end of regulation time, Małgorzata Kołodziejska headed in a cross from Zuzanna Biernacka, and five minutes later, the same player found the net again with a shot from 16 meters. In the final 10 minutes of the match, Wisła managed to beat the Podgórze goalkeeper twice more. Kinga Łatka found the back of the net after a cross from Natalia Filar, and Monika Markiewicz sealed Wisła's victory with a header from Zuzanna Biernacka's corner.
"Another well-earned victory, this time after a very good game against the Podgórze reserves. I'm very pleased with the girls' performance, especially those who came off the bench in the second half and significantly contributed to the score increase. We have two weeks until our last match of the season against Wawel. We want to end the season with a win and advance," said Wisła coach Mateusz Król.
