For a draw in Nieciecza: #BBTWIS 2:2
In a thrilling match, Wisła Kraków drew 2-2 with Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza, demonstrating character and a will to fight until the final minutes. The Kraków team twice had to chase down the score, but thanks to goals from Angel Rodado and Bartosz Jaroch, they managed to snatch a valuable point from a difficult match.
The first half of the match in Nieciecza was filled with pace, commitment, and some really good chances for Wisła. From the first whistle, the visitors from Kraków looked more mature, playing with greater freedom, precision, and creativity. Their dominance in possession quickly translated into concrete chances in front of Termalica's goal. In the 17th minute, Wisła pressed hard, and Angel Rodado attempted two attempts to open the scoring, but to no avail. Moments later, the Spaniard had a chance to show off, scoring a free kick from a favorable position just outside the penalty area, but this time the ball sailed high over the crossbar. The hosts, though often forced to defend, also managed to make their presence felt. In the 18th minute, Wolski opted for a bold long-range shot. Although the ball went wide of Letkiewicz's goal, it signaled that Termalica weren't just defending. In the 24th minute, the visitors came back into the game. Angel Baena won the ball in midfield, won a physical battle with his opponent, and headed towards the penalty area. His powerful, low shot from around 20 meters out proved no match for the well-positioned Adrian Chovan. The most dramatic moment came in the 29th minute, when Letkiewicz made a costly error in his play. His pass to Poletanović was too short, and the ball ultimately fell straight to the feet of the onrushing Maciej Ambrosiewicz. The Termalica player didn't waste this gift, dribbling past the goalkeeper and slotting the ball into the net, opening the scoring. Wisła didn't need long to respond, however. In the 34th minute, Frederico Duarte first came close to equalizing, firing a shot from just outside the penalty area straight at Chovan. In the next move, the same player won the ball in midfield, quickly exchanged a pass with Rodado, and the Spaniard, capitalizing on a deflected shot from a defender, cleverly deceived the goalkeeper and equalized. The first half of the game ended with another tense situation – in the 44th minute, Zapolnik tried to reach the ball played behind Wisła's defense, but Letkiewicz made amends for his earlier mistake and bravely ran out of the goal, beating Termalica's striker.
After the break, Wisła Kraków re-entered the match with renewed energy and made their presence felt early in the second half. In the 46th minute, Angel Baena played a brilliant pass with Marko Poletanović, making a dynamic run down the wing before sending a low cross to Angel Rodado. He cleverly passed it to the oncoming Mikulec, who shot without hesitation, but his shot was blocked. Wisła had to settle for a corner, despite the fact that it looked like a goal. Just two minutes later, another great opportunity fell to the White Star. Kacper Duda sent a precise cross into the penalty area, and Igor Łasicki found the perfect spot at the far post. The Wisła defender was in a clear position, but his shot misfired, and it flew wide. The visitors could only regret it once again. It seemed Wisła had everything under control, when suddenly, in the 58th minute, the hosts managed to strike back. After a well-played move, Zapolnik won the battle for position in the penalty area and headed past Letkiewicz, giving Termalica a 2-1 lead. The conceded goal had a cold-blooded effect on Wisła Kraków. The Kraków team immediately went on the offensive, putting intense pressure on the home defense. In the 60th minute, Duarte unleashed a dangerous header, but Chovan stood his ground. Wisła dominated the following minutes. In the 65th minute, Łasicki again closed down Duda's cross, but again, his precision was lacking. Three minutes later, amidst chaos in the penalty area, Mikulec shot dangerously, and Chovan was once again up to the task. In the 70th minute, it could have been 2-2. Zwoliński delivered a brilliant header, and the ball was heading straight into the net, but the Termalica defender managed to clear the ball from the goal line. Wisła's pressure finally paid off. In the 74th minute, Kacper Duda once again delivered a perfect cross from the byline, and Bartosz Jaroch rose highest to head Chovan with a powerful shot. Wisła secured the equalizer at 2-2. The visitors refused to stop. In the 80th minute, after Termalica's defenders cleared the ball, Carbó cleverly restarted the attack, immediately sending another ball into the penalty area. This time, Uryga got the ball to head it, but his shot was narrowly off target. In the 89th minute, Jaroch almost scored. The Wisła defender joined the attack and played at his own risk. A precise shot toward the far post almost resulted in a goal, but the ball brushed the outside netting and missed the target by mere centimeters.
