A new multi-functional facility for the Academy

The Wisła Kraków Football Academy has gained another modern sports complex. Thanks to an agreement with the Jagiellonian University authorities, a 5-year lease agreement was signed for the facilities at 26 Piastowska Street. This means that after the completion of the new artificial pitch on Reymonta Street, training will take place in two locations, 600 meters apart, and in the immediate vicinity of R22. The first training sessions for young footballers at the facilities on Piastowska Street will take place on Tuesday, May 7th.

The new location will include a grass pitch opened in May this year, accompanying infrastructure (including a running track, a multi-purpose sports field, tennis, beach volleyball and basketball courts, and a long jump runway), as well as complete sanitary facilities with locker rooms.

The youngest White Star Academy cadets will have their first opportunity to familiarize themselves with the new facility on Tuesday, May 7th. Ultimately, a significant portion of the training within the Academy's Krakow structure will be focused on two locations: the facilities at Piastowska 26 and the artificial pitch currently under construction at Reymonta Street, just 600 meters apart.

The Wisła Kraków Football Academy has long sought a modern sports facility near the stadium. Discussions with the Jagiellonian University authorities were successful. The agreement granted the club a sports complex located near the stadium on Reymonta Street, where work is underway on the construction of an artificial pitch. From a logistics, organizational, and training perspective, this is excellent news for the White Star. Academy students have the opportunity to train on high-quality facilities, including the recently completed grass pitch on Piastowska Street.
