The new home of youth teams

May 2023 is an important month in the development of women's football within Wisła Kraków.

Thanks to an agreement signed with the Municipality of Kraków, on whose behalf the 8th General Secondary School operates, the White Star's youth teams will spend the end of the current season and the entirety of the next one on the pitch at 24 Grzegórzecka Street, training and playing league matches there.

The signed agreement guarantees Academy teams priority use of the artificial turf pitch located near the Grzegórzecki and Mogilskie roundabouts until December 2024. Currently, the women's section consists of the first team and the U-15, U-13, and U-11 youth teams. New U-18 and U-9 teams will also be formed in the new season. Therefore, recruitment for all groups will be held until the end of June – any interested player can come and try out for Wisła Kraków training (just complete the short form HERE ).

"Building a women's division is arduous work, but thanks to this agreement, we're taking a huge step forward. From the beginning of the season, when we hit the ground running with three youth teams, we were determined to find a single location that would be our "home." Thanks to the kindness and openness of the administration of the 8th General Secondary School, we signed an agreement that gives us this opportunity.
