Ruch - Wisła chess match: play for the White Star team!

On February 22nd, the Silesian Stadium will host the #MatchofChampions – the highlight of the spring round of the Betclic 1 League. Before the Blue and White Stars take to the pitch, however, the competition will be between… chess players. Therefore, we're announcing a recruitment drive for the Wisła Kraków team!

The Ruch vs. Wisła chess match will be played at the Silesian Stadium on February 22nd in the morning. Each team will consist of 25 players. Participants will play two games of rapid chess (time control: 10 minutes + 5 seconds per move). In the event of a draw after two games, the team with the most points on each board wins. If the points total is equal, Armageddon, a one-on-one game, will decide the winner.

The match will be played on 25 boards. Players with the highest categories and chess ratings will start from the first board. The current FIDE regulations and the Polish Chess Federation (PZSzach) Chess Code will apply. An international-class arbiter will oversee the smooth conduct of the tournament.
