#GKŁWIS match without the participation of White Star fans

The host of the sixth round of the Betclic 1 League, Górnik Łęczna, refused to host an organized group of Wisła Kraków fans. The letter was received by the club before the match was scheduled to take place on its original date. With the match rescheduled to October 22, 2024, the Lublin club's decision was upheld.

We present the content of the letter: "I hereby inform you that on August 14, 2024, the Mayor of Łęczna issued decision No. SO.5310.3.2024 amending decision No. SO.5310.3.2024 of July 11, 2024 regarding the conditions for organizing the football match for the 1st league championship: Górnik Łęczna SA - Wisła Kraków SA, which was scheduled for August 22, 2024 at the stadium in Łęczna.
In connection with the above, on the basis of point 1 of Resolution No. II/85 of 20 February 2013 of the Management Board of the Polish Football Association on the rules of participation of visiting team fans in football matches during central-level competitions organised by the Polish Football Association and Ekstraklasa SA, Górnik Łęczna SA decided not to accept organised Wisła Kraków fans due to the exclusion of the visiting sector from the available seats at the stadium.

The above decision was dictated by special safety considerations resulting from the possibility of serious breaches of order at the mass event site.

The organization of this football match will be held exclusively under high security conditions.
