On March 14th, Miedź Legnica will host Wisła Kraków in the 24th round of the Betclic 1 League. The hosts refused to host an organized group of White Star fans, informing the club officially and also publishing the information on their own website.

The letter reads: "Threat analysis for this match has been ongoing since January 2025. Miedź Legnica has received very disturbing reports about the possibility of various groups of fans traveling to Legnica for this match, hostile towards Kraków fans and seeking an opportunity for direct confrontation. This is related to the negative events involving Wisła Kraków and BKS Stal Bielsko-Biała fans in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship (near Tarnów), during which a fan from Bielsko-Biała was killed, which was widely reported in the media. We are forwarding all incoming information to the relevant services on an ongoing basis."

Based on the incoming information, we assess that there may be a very serious threat to the safety of competition participants, including players, referees, and other persons participating in the mass event. Taking into account the above and the provisions of Resolution No. 1/8 of January 14, 2025 of the Management Board of the Polish Football Association amending Resolution No. 11/85 of February 20, 2013 of the Management Board of the Polish Football Association on the rules for the participation of visiting team fans at football matches during central-level competitions organized by the Polish Football Association and Ekstraklasa SA, as well as the provisions of the Regulations for Mass Events Organized at the White Eagle Municipal Stadium in Legnica §2 points 1 and 2 subpoint 4, MKS Miedź Legnica SA refuses to admit Wisła Kraków fans to the match in question.

This decision is dictated by safety considerations, and detailed information and justification of the decision taken by the Club will be forwarded to the relevant disciplinary bodies of the Polish Football Association, in accordance with Resolution No. 1/8 of January 14, 2025 of the Management Board of the Polish Football Association on amending Resolution No. 11/85 of February 20, 2013 of the Management Board of the Polish Football Association on the rules of participation of visiting team fans in football matches during central-level competitions organized by the Polish Football Association and Ekstraklasa SA

In accordance with the above regulation, the club of the host team has the right not to accept an organized group of fans of the visiting club's team on the basis of appropriate decisions of the competent state or local government entities, in accordance with the provisions of general law, on the basis of decisions of the relevant bodies of the Polish Football Association or the European Soccer Association, and also in particularly justified cases, on the basis of decisions of the club's authorities dictated by safety reasons.
