Michał Zimon stays longer at Wisła Kraków

Michał Zimon has decided to continue his footballing career at Reymonta. The reserve team player has signed a new contract that runs until June 30, 2025, with the option to extend.

The young footballer took his first steps in football with Piast Strzelce Opolskie, and in the past has also had the opportunity to represent Promotor Zabrze, Górnik Zabrze, Ruch Zdzieszowice, and Polonia Nysa. The player joined the club at Reymonta Street before the start of the autumn round of the current season, when he began preparations for the competition with the White Star's reserve team.

In the first part of the season, Michał Zimon played 17 matches under the supervision of coach Mariusz Jop, and scored 5 goals and 3 assists.

An important step

The young Wisła player spoke about his feelings about signing a new contract. He expressed his joy and excitement at the opportunity. "I'm very happy to have the opportunity to sign a new contract with Wisła. I feel like I'm doing my job well, both in training and matches. Overall, I'm very happy to be able to continue my football adventure here," he said.

Support and good atmosphere

The 21-year-old also spoke about his first few months at Wisła Kraków and his relationship with his teammates. According to the player, the atmosphere within the team is very good, which has also contributed to the team's success and top spot in the JAKO IV League table. "I rate my first few months at Wisła very positively. I was able to meet some great people, including coaches and players. I managed to settle in quickly, mainly thanks to the openness of the teammates, with whom I get along great. We have a fantastic atmosphere in the locker room, but we also understand each other easily on the pitch, which influences our results," he noted.

Specific plans

The White Star player also revealed a few details about his goals, the most important of which is to make his debut in Albert Rudé's team. "My goal hasn't changed since I arrived here, and it's to make my debut in the Wisła Kraków first team. As for the team goal, it's definitely promotion to the third league," he announced.
