#WARWIS match without Wisła Kraków fans
On April 5th, Warta Poznań will host Wisła Kraków in the 26th round of the Betclic 1 League. The hosts refused to host an organized group of White Star fans, informing the club officially and also publishing the information on their own website.
The statement reads: "With the safety of our fans in mind, the club's management board has decided to close the away section for the match against Wisła Kraków on April 5th. We are forced to make this decision due to the ongoing conflict within the fan community regarding the admission of organized groups of White Star fans to away matches. Given the current tensions and the emotions surrounding them, we believe that allowing an organized group of Wisła fans could pose a serious threat to Warta fans and supporters, as well as to the local community of Grodzisk, residents of the dormitory at the stadium, and children and young people who will be attending the match. We would like to emphasize that this was not an easy decision for us. The presence of away fans enhances the matches and is also of significant financial importance to the host clubs. However, in this situation, the priority must be ensuring the safety of everyone present at the stadium. We deeply believe that this conflict will be resolved soon."
Wisła Kraków informs that it will refer the matter to the Disciplinary Committee of the Polish Football Association to assess the validity of Warta Poznań's decision.
