Mariusz Kutwa stays with Wisła Kraków for longer
Nineteen-year-old Mariusz Kutwa has extended his contract with Wisła Kraków. The young central midfielder signed a contract valid until June 30, 2026. The agreement includes the option to extend for another season depending on the player's sporting success with the team.
Born on February 17, 2004, Mariusz Kutwa is a product of one of Wisła Kraków's partner clubs, MUKS Halny Kamienica, from which he moved to Kraków in 2017. Immediately after joining Wisła Kraków, he became a key player in his age group, which resulted in a quick inclusion in the CLJ U-15 squad. The young midfielder later played for senior teams competing in the Central Junior League, the U-17 and U-19. Before the start of the current season, he was included in the reactivated Wisła Kraków reserve team, where he played all 18 matches of the autumn round, scoring one goal. "Kutwi" performed very solidly throughout the season, and his performances earned him a call-up to the White Star's first team, with whom he trains regularly and will soon be joining them for a training camp in Turkey. The 19-year-old has been included in the first team's matchday squad three times so far, but is still waiting for his official debut.
"I'm very happy to have signed a new contract. Since joining the Academy, I've progressed through several levels, and I've had the opportunity to learn something from every coach I've worked with. Year after year, I've improved my skills, following the example of my seniors. I've always felt a lot of support from the people at the club," said Kutwa.
Appreciation of work
The 19-year-old midfielder regularly trains with Wisła Kraków's first team and will soon be taking part in a training camp with them in Belek, Turkey. "The opportunity to work with the first team is a great honor for me, but also a recognition of all the hard work and effort I've put in since joining the club. I think I'll show I deserve it soon," he concluded.
Kutwi, congratulations!
We wish you good luck!
