Mariusz Jop takes over Wisła Kraków's first team on a temporary basis

Following the dismissal of Kazimierz Moskal as head coach of the Wisła Kraków first team, his current assistant, Mariusz Jop, will take over the team. Michał Siwierski will assist him as co-coach.

Mariusz Jop is a figure associated with Wisła Kraków. He first represented Wisła Kraków as a player, then as a youth and reserve team coach, and as interim first-team coach. He was last appointed to this role in December 2023, following Radosław Sobolewski's departure from the R22. During that time, the White Star recorded three victories under his leadership, defeating Polonia Warszawa 2-1 and Górnik Łęczna 4-0 in league matches and Stal Rzeszów 4-1 in the Polish Cup.
