Michał Bierzało signed a new professional contract
We are pleased to announce that Michał Bierzało has signed a new contract with Wisła Kraków! The defender's contract runs until June 30, 2026, and includes the option to extend for another season.
Michał Bierzało is a well-known player at Reymont. He took his first steps in football with the White Star, progressing through the ranks of Wisła's youth teams. In 2014, he won the Polish Junior Championship and has also played for Wisła's second team.
In March 2015, he moved to Limanovia, and in the following years represented clubs such as Stal Mielec, GKS Bełchatów, Siarka Tarnobrzeg, and Elana Toruń. In July 2024, he returned to Wisła Kraków to support the second team in the Betclic 3rd League.
Unfortunately, shortly after returning to the club, Michał was diagnosed with a brain tumor. After undergoing surgery and a lengthy treatment and rehabilitation process, he was cleared to resume his football career. His return to the pitch is the result of immense determination and perseverance.
Welcome back to the team and we wish you good luck in your upcoming appearances in the White Star colors!
