Moskiewicz: We respect this draw
The White Star's second team opened their Betclic III League campaign with a draw and a share of the points against KSZO Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski. Patryk Moskiewicz, who returned to Reymont in June after several years away, was in the starting lineup for this match. The player discussed the emotions surrounding the transfer, his role in the team, and assessed the team's performance in their first match.
Before the start of preparations for the current season, Patryk Moskiewicz signed a two-year contract with the club, with the option to extend it. The player did not hide his satisfaction with the transfer offer and the possibility of returning to Reymont.
"It's no secret that I was excited about the transfer, as Wisła Kraków is a club with a huge tradition. When I left a few years ago, I still had the thought of returning to Reymont in the future. Before the season started, I received an offer from director Kołaczyk, and I made the decision without a moment's hesitation."
Wiślak also revealed how the first few weeks of settling into the team went: "I feel really good here. It's not a new team for me, because I've played with many of the guys before. In fact, I know a lot of the team, so settling in wasn't a problem."
The Kraków team, led by Patryk Moskiewicz, bravely entered the third-division competition, drawing with KSZO Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski. As the player recalls, the single point earned is incredibly valuable and provides motivation to continue building on his form.
"This match was the team's debut in the third division. We started very well and scored early. Both teams had their chances and could have won the match. We respect the draw, as we finished the match with ten men, and we will continue to work to perform even better in future matches."
Patryk Moskiewicz boasts considerable experience playing in the third division, which he is currently trying to capitalize on as a reserve player for the White Star. He shares his knowledge and skills with his teammates, helping them take their first steps in the Betclic Third League.
"I try to help with my experience as much as I can. That was my intention when I came here. This team is made up of talented, committed players who are very capable. We're still learning this league, so with each match we'll become accustomed to the playing conditions, and the results will come with time. I'm confident about that."
