#RESWIS match without the participation of visiting fans

The Management Board of CWKS Resovia Rzeszów SA has decided not to accept an organised group of fans during the match of the 29th round of FORTUNA 1 League.

In the letter sent to the club, we read about the provisions of resolution no. II/85 of the Management Board of the Polish Football Association on the rules for the participation of visiting team fans in football matches and the resulting right not to admit them in particularly justified cases, when there are real and documented indications of a possible threat to the safety of participants or the course of the match.

The hosts cited the events that took place in Round 2, when Resovia hosted an organized group of Wisła fans, and direct coercion was used. Furthermore, the hostile attitude of both teams' fans was highlighted, and other risks arising from hosting Kraków fans, based on police recommendations, were considered. The match in question was designated a high-risk mass event. The events in Radłów and the Unia Tarnów fan tournament, during which a tragic incident involving Wisła Kraków fans, among others, resulted in the death of a fan of the other team, were also mentioned.
