Mikhailov: We lost points in the first half
The White Star's second team returned to action in another league match on Saturday. Wisła drew at home against Czarni Połaniec, and coach Aleksandr Mikhailov praised their players' performance.
The match brought plenty of excitement and unexpected twists. The home side dominated from the first minute due to a red card for a Połaniec player. Wisła followed suit and took the lead, but ultimately failed to secure the three points. The match ended in a 3-3 draw, with Mateusz Młyński scoring all three goals for the home side.
"It was another demanding match, and it must be admitted that we lost points in the first half. We were playing at home today, we had the lead for almost the entire match, and we were leading, so in such a situation, we should have done everything to increase the score and win, because we had chances. Unfortunately, we had a lot of easy turnovers today, and individually we were too passive in defense. As a team, we did everything according to plan and went to the press, but the individual mistakes mentioned above, a lack of concentration, or simply a lack of willingness to win the ball, decided the final result today," said coach Aleksandr Mikhailov.
