Marcin Górkiewicz stays longer in Wisła
Marcin Górkiewicz has decided to continue his future at the club at Reymonta Street. The player signed a one-year contract with the club, with the option to extend it for another season.
Marcin Górkiewicz was born on April 13, 2005, and took his first steps in football in Podgórze Gierałtowice. He then represented Unia Oświęcim, where he played for several youth teams, before joining Wisła Kraków in the 2019/20 season. The player, who has played for the CLJ U-15, CLJ U-17, and CLJ U-18 teams, played in the CLJ U-19 competition under coach Karol Nędza in the previous campaign. Górkiewicz also played two matches for the White Star's second team.
The 19-year-old signed his first professional contract with the Kraków club a year ago, and now he will continue his adventure at Reymonta.
"I'm happy and content to have signed a new contract. I've been playing for Wisła for several years now, and this contract extension is another result of my hard work. I'm excited and ready to get started in the upcoming season."
Marcin Górkiewicz has been working with the White Star's second team since the beginning of preparations. The player revealed how he feels being part of this team.
"There have been major personnel changes in the team this season, but I still feel very good and the atmosphere in the locker room is great. Everyone quickly bonded well."
When asked about his plans for the coming months, he says briefly: "My goal is to play as much as possible and as well as possible to develop and help the team achieve the highest goals set for this season."
Marcin, congratulations and good luck!
