"As usual, I'll congratulate the team, because these victories are important, especially matches after the winter break. It wasn't obvious that the team would pick up the points. Of course, we know that in terms of the flow of play, it wasn't our perfect match. However, we achieved what's most important, namely the three points. Congratulations to the team once again ," coach Mariusz Jop concluded, summing up the match against Tychy .

"I'd also like to thank the fans for coming out in such large numbers today. We felt their support, their cheering. They always carry us, so I'm very happy that they came to the stadium in such large numbers. Thank you and congratulations to them as well, because they made a huge contribution to our victory. Thank you very much ," the Wisła coach complimented.

A goal conceded due to an error.
"I think the most important thing for me is how the team reacted after conceding the goal, because it's not that easy to react properly when you're losing. I'm thinking of a scenario where you score and take the lead. I think that's the most important thing. Of course, it's built into the way we play, and sometimes situations like that will arise ." – he responded to the journalist's question.

"Later, it was clear that when the opponent approached us one-on-one high up the pitch and left a 4-on-4 formation behind, we posed a threat with a pass from Letkiewicz that was a few times longer. It's not like we're just going to open up the ball this way, always playing inside. We'll try that sometimes, and I'm definitely not going to give you a message not to do that now, because we conceded a goal ." – he added.

Game plan after taking a 2-1 lead.
"Of course, it was clear that, just like in the first half, Tychy tried to push us out and went into high pressure. They tried to go one-on-one in situations like this when we were building up. In the second half, it was clear that they were clearly waiting in mid-defence, so we also gave ourselves time to prepare this attack. Sometimes we even rushed too much, in my opinion, because we want to draw the opponent out and we have to be patient here. We have to lower the three center-backs to provoke the opponent into pressing and then look for space between the lines or behind. It's a quite simple philosophy. As you could see, Tychy were passive, even though they were losing 2-1. From the beginning of the second half, they were rather waiting in mid-defence and rarely came out, rarely pushed us out in pressing. I think that after the winter break, it's not easy to find your rhythm right away. Create attacks with multiple passes. It's not that easy. Tychy stood up today, tried, were aggressive, had a lot of players in their team. penalty area, because they were in a 5-4-1 structure, so it's not that easy to create many chances ," said coach Jop .

"I'm glad we were very effective today and ended up with goals on two flanking plays in the first half. Kuzi showed he can also score with his head. I'm pleased he started the year with a very good performance. Besides, he, like the entire team, deserves praise ." – he added.

The attitude of Maciej Kuziemka .
"I think Maciek played very well that round. Let's also remember that while the team was resting, there were breaks for internationals. Not only him, but the other three of our young players were also going to training camp. There are emotions again, there is concentration again, there is preparation for the next match again. It was a lot for him. The previous round was very exhausting. Not only physically, but also emotionally. He simply needs rest, just like the whole team needs rest. As for whether this is his optimal form, I don't think so. He's a young player who is constantly developing, and I think we shouldn't hold anyone to any standards, but rather celebrate the progress. I think today not only him, but also "Krzyż," and I think " Leta, " performed well in several situations. Basically, I think the young players had a positive experience in today's match ." – the coach summed up.

Wisła scored two very similar goals.
"We knew how Tychy defended, that the closer defender was in the zone, while the rest tried to catch players in the 1v1 zone in the closing stages. A winger dropping to the near post like that was certainly difficult to detect. Of course, the players had a defensive plan in place, and we had certain areas to fill. They did that, and Maciek happened to be exactly where he needed to be. Duarte also deserves a mention, as his crosses were of good quality, powerful balls that gave the defender little time to move, which was also very important ." – he stated.

Szymon Kawała's unlucky performance.
"It was a completely accidental situation. I was close to the action. He mishandled the ball a bit on a long pass. Then he tried to block it, and the player put his foot in. Of course – a clear red card. There was no intention to hit the other player, to get in his foot. He wanted to block the ball, but it happened in such a dynamic situation that the penalty was deserved. It was a sad event for the guy. No consequences for us, because I think that even with 10 men, we had the match under control and launched several dangerous attacks. It's definitely a shame, because he was brought on to gain minutes and experience ." – said the White Star coach.

Duarte – a good match. Will the coach have a hard time deciding who to start in the next match?
"I'd like to point out that it's not certain that Duarte would have been considered in Kacper Duda's absence. We also have other options. I think Frederico had a great performance in this match. He provided two impressive assists. He was also dangerous in the attacking phase and played flawlessly in defense. He did his job, so a match like this is definitely something that will give a player more confidence, firstly, and secondly, his position in the team will certainly improve ," coach Jop said of the Portuguese's performance .

Joseph Colley's performance and Jordi Sanchez's debut.
"I think Joseph is a plus. He functioned well vertically several times, coming out behind the player. When the opponent opened up, we also wanted to go one-on-one there, and he's good in those duels. Of course, I need to watch this match calmly. His actions in the penalty area are especially important to me, in our penalty area. As for Jordi, it's difficult to judge him because we played one player less the next moment, so he had a lot of work to do. He was mostly left as a number nine and had to run a lot without the ball. However, he is definitely a player you can play long passes to, he has good physical condition, he can attack spaces well. I think he understands Angel quite well. I think he functions very well in the team, considering the time he's been with us. He's such an open person, positive, who is liked in the locker room. He has Spanish blood. An open person, an open mind, a tactically intelligent player. Of course, he needs time, because we know that for the last six months he hasn't played at all in Japan. He came to us without team training, without football training, So these elements definitely take time for him to return to that good sense of space, but also to those footballing, fundamental elements, to feel better. I'm counting on him. I think there will be moments when he will help the team ," he said.

Coach Łukasz Piszczek pointed out that Wisła only fired three shots.
"I haven't seen the stats yet. I don't want to comment on that. I think the most important thing is how effective those shots are. If we take four and score three goals, I'm in ," concluded coach Mariusz Jop .
