"I spoke about how what we do, we do for the fans, but we also do it for the emotions. I think today's rollercoaster of emotions with a happy ending, with a victory against a very tough opponent, is very optimistic. It was a very difficult match. I think the players deserve a lot of credit for getting out of a difficult mental situation. It's not easy when you're winning, then you concede two goals, and finally you manage to win. This shows their strong will and belief in what they are doing. I think these aspects were at a very high level. It's an important victory after a series of three draws, so once again, congratulations. I am very happy that we created an interesting and exciting spectacle and ultimately defeated a tough opponent," summarized coach Mariusz Jop.

The first 30 minutes under Wisła's dictate. Then Miedź took control.

"There are such moments in a match, there are such phases, in which you have an advantage. There are also moments when the opponent has their chances and takes the initiative. That's how it was today. I think that here, regarding the second half, our problem was that we started losing more duels and collecting fewer second balls. There was a lot of long ball play, both from our side, in terms of opening from the goalkeeper, and from the opponent's side. I think that's what made us have less control over the game. Of course, the goal from a set piece helped the opponents. They got some energy, emotions, and it was a bit harder for us at that moment. We know that Miedź is a team that is very tall and very dangerous from set pieces. They utilized one of them. The most important thing was that we reacted to it in a good, positive way and scored two goals in the final minutes," replied the coach of Biała Gwiazda.

Sanchez on the field from the first whistle.

"Jordi worked hard for a long time, we waited for him to get in proper shape. He was already sending such signals after our last played match. In the last two weeks, it was clear that he was in good form. We utilized his good form. What I said earlier in that round, that a player with similar parameters is needed and useful when the opponent defends deep, is true. Today, he was the one who won the aerial duel in the 3:2 situation, and then Roda finished his shot, so he fulfilled his task. Moreover, he worked hard in defense, held onto several difficult balls. I think this match was definitely a plus. He scored a goal, which is the most important thing. That's what we always demand from offensive players. I'm happy that in the match where he started for the first time, he played effectively, showed his good side, and scored a goal," he said with optimism.

Is Wisła returning to its autumn form?

"I wish it were so. I think there were already such indications in the match against Znicz. We watched several actions involving one or two touches. Today there was definitely more of that. I think there were moments where we changed sides with multiple passes. We did it quickly, we did it accurately. There were significantly fewer simple, unforced turnovers. I saw that the team is improving. I saw it in training and in today's match, and we confirmed it against a very uncomfortable opponent, an opponent who seeks duels, who is tall and very dangerous in those duels from set pieces. I hope that the team, carried by the emotions of this match, will reach a level that will satisfy all of us," he said.

Was the referee too permissive?

"I would not like to evaluate the referee's work. That is not my role," coach Mariusz Jop replied briefly and concluded the press conference.
