19 years ago, Jakub Błaszczykowski made his debut in the Polish national team

19 years ago – on March 28, 2006 – Poland defeated Saudi Arabia 2-1 in a friendly match. Jakub Błaszczykowski made his debut for the national team in that match.

Apart from him, Poland was represented that day by five more Wisła players (Baszczyński, Paweł Brożek, Dudka, Kłos and Sobolewski) and both goals for the White and Reds were scored by former White Star striker Łukasz Sosin.
