Monday's clash between Wisła Kraków and Arka Gdynia ended in a draw. The match, played at R22, was full of excitement, goals, and controversy. However, overall, the two teams had to share the points.

Igor Łasicki appeared on the pitch in the second half of Monday's match. For the White Star player, it was his first match back from injury: "It was my first match in a long time, as I was struggling with a knee injury. I had to come on focused on preventing Arka from scoring against us, but unfortunately, it didn't work out. The whole team is upset with the result after this match. The first half was very good, in the second half the tables were turned, we perhaps lost a bit of energy as well, but I think we had a chance to score another goal," he admitted. "It's a shame about Angel's situation when he hit the crossbar. We spoke with the referee, and he gave us the advantage, so there was no red card. It's supposed to be a legal defense, but we're at a disadvantage. Who knows what would have happened if there had been a foul, an Arka player would have received a red card, and we would have received a free kick. Unfortunately, we have to look forward to the next matches, and the next one is on Thursday," Łasicki said.

During Monday's match, Igor Łasicki came on in the second half. When asked if he was ready to play from the start, he replied: "Obviously, it was the first match. I worked well in the preseason. Then the injury threw me off my rhythm. I'm trying to be 100 percent ready to play. Will I play from the start in the next one? It's the coach's decision. I'll fight."

The perfect recipe for today's result is another good match. And the opportunity to do so is coming soon. "We'll want to repeat what we did in the cup clash against Spartak Trnava. I think it was a top performance from us. We have to channel this nervousness into Thursday's match and do everything we can to ensure a positive outcome," he added.

Despite dropping two points, Wisła Kraków played quite well. They made mistakes, but they tried to secure all three points, which was evident until the final minute. "That's why we're so angry. Sitting on the bench in the first half, I saw the guys' efforts and I respect them for it. In the second half, it was a bit different. Arka attacked more. We were 2-0 up, we should have respected that, but unfortunately, we didn't. We were playing a good match, but it turned around and we have one point. We have to keep playing," he concluded.
