Further personnel changes in the Wisła Kraków second team
Wisła Kraków's second team has already begun preparations for the 2024/25 season in the Betclic 3rd League. However, the off-season has seen further changes in the squad, with two players already leaving the club.
Two players who joined the second team last season are ending their careers with the Reymont club. Karol Sałamaj and Patryk Moskiewicz are leaving the team.
Karol Sałamaj (born March 23, 2004) began his football career with Jadwiga Kraków, and in the subsequent stages of his youth career he also represented Bronowianka, Zagłębie Lubin and the Football Academy 21. He joined Wisła Kraków before the start of the 2019/2020 season, systematically progressing through the successive levels of the club's academy.
The 21-year-old defender helped the White Star's second team advance to the Betclic 3rd League. He began the 2024/25 season with the White Star's reserves. In the spring round, he was loaned to third-division club Chełmianka Chełm.
Patryk Moskiewicz (born February 17, 2001) is a former Ratajów Oleśnica alumnus who also played for Pogoń Oleśnica and AKS SMS Łódź. He joined Wisła Kraków in August 2018, but left the club after two seasons, continuing his career with KP Starogard Gdański and Garbarnia Kraków.
Ahead of the 2024/2025 season, he rejoined the White Star, joining the second team. In the Betclic Third League, he made 24 appearances, spending 1,705 minutes on the pitch, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
The player is now saying goodbye to Wisła, moving on a permanent transfer to the Naprzód Jędrzejów team.
Gentlemen, thank you for representing Wisła colours with dignity and we wish you good luck in your further career!
