Kazimierz Kmiecik scores a goal during the Stuttgarter Kickers anniversary
September 7th is a special date for Stuttgarter Kickers, celebrating their 125th anniversary. Kazimierz Kmiecik, who represented the German club from 1985 to 1988, participated in the celebrations. The legendary striker also scored during the anniversary match between former players, which ended in a 4-4 draw.
Former Stuttgarter Kickers players met again at the Waldau Stadium and showcased their skills in a friendly match. Fans were treated to a total of eight goals in the clash between the blue and white teams. The event was attended by: Kazimierz Kmiecik, Mustafa Akcay, Marc Arnold, Kerem Arslan, Patrick Auracher, Lhadji Badiane, Eberhard Carl, Nikolaos Chatzis, Bernd Eckardt, Nick Fennell, Helmut Fürther, Manuel Garcia, Fabian Gerster, Marco Grüttner, Marcel Ivanusa, Daniel Kaiser, Tino Köstel, Josip Landeka, Julian Leist, Fabio Leutenecker, Enzo Marchese, Patrick Milchraum, Gerrit Müller, Torsten Raspe, Mahir Savranlıoğlu, Rainer Scharinger, Marc Stein, Moritz Steinle, Marco Wildersinn, David Yelldell and Angelo Vaccaro were also numerous famous faces as spectators. These include Herbert Binder, Dieter Dollmann, Kahraman Erdin, Michael Feichtenbeiner, Martin Hägele, Günter Heberle, Marcus Mann, Eckhard "Max" Müller, Markus "Toni" Sailer, Andre Sirocks, Mijo Tunjic and Jens Zimmermann.
