The first project carried out as part of the inauguration of the cooperation will be a vernissage and an exhibition of Wisła Kraków memorabilia, organized in cooperation with the Kościuszko Mound Committee in Krakow and the R48 Museum, entitled " Wisła Kraków in the Artistic Trend" from the series "History of Polish Football at Kościuszko Mound."
Kościuszko Mound in Krakow – a symbol of community in the times when there was no Polish State
The anniversary collaboration also has a symbolic dimension. Construction of the Kościuszko Mound in Kraków began in 1820 , during the partition era—a time when the Polish state did not exist on the map of Europe . The act of building the Mound itself had a communal and civic character, bringing together people of all walks of life and generations around the idea of remembrance and responsibility for heritage.
In the Kraków tradition of mounds, Wisła Kraków also has its visible trace: in the 1930s Wisła players took part in the construction of the Józef Piłsudski Mound , performing work in club colors – red T-shirts with a white star .

Jarosław Królewski, President of the Management Board of Wisła Kraków:
"We want to celebrate the 120th anniversary of Wisła Kraków not only through sport, but also through values that build community. The Kościuszko Mound in Kraków is one of the most important symbols of our city – a place that unites memory, education, and civic responsibility. This collaboration is of particular importance to us, and its inauguration with a vernissage and exhibition shows the direction: Wisła as part of Kraków's heritage, also present in culture."
Prof. Dr. hab. Piotr Dobosz, President of the Kościuszko Mound Committee in Krakow:
"The Kościuszko Mound in Krakow is a community project, established at a time when there was no Polish State. That's why we hold dear the idea of activities that unite people around important issues – memory, identity, and the common good. Collaboration with Wisła Kraków, a club with such strong ties to Krakow, opens up space for projects that will speak of history and heritage through the language of culture. Opening Ceremony and Exhibition under Mound Kościuszko in Krakow is the best inauguration of this path.”
