A few words about the rival: KF Llapi 1932

Wisła Kraków secured their place on the international stage by winning the Polish Cup final. In the first round of the Europa League qualifying round, the White Star will face Kosovo's KF Llapi 1932. The first clash is on Thursday, July 11th at R22!

The Podujevo team finished runner-up last season, finishing behind FC Ballkani in the league. This position will allow them to test their skills on the European stage for the third time – in the 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons, KF Llapi participated in the Europa Conference League qualifiers. However, in both cases, their international adventures were short-lived. They lost 3-1 on aggregate to Macedonian side KF Shkupi in the first round, and 4-2 a year later to Montenegrin side Budućnost Podgorica.

The full name of KF Llapi is 1932, the year the club was founded. Although the team's history stretches back over 90 years, it has celebrated its greatest successes in modern times. "Llapjanët," as Wiślaki's rivals are nicknamed, has won the Kosovo Cup twice and the Super Cup once. They still lack the Kosovo championship title to complete their domestic trophy collection, although the team from Podujevo regularly finishes in the league.

The first leg between Wisła Kraków and KF Llapi 1932 is scheduled for July 11. The White Star will begin the two-legged tie at home, with the return match taking place a week later in Pristina.

See you!
