KS Raba Dobczyce joins the group of partner clubs!
Raba Dobczyce is the next club to sign a partnership agreement with the Wisła Kraków Football Academy. This means the team from the Myślenice County joins the Wisła Kraków Academy's ranks of partner clubs.
Last week, two teams joined the Wisła Kraków Football Academy's partner clubs. The new week marked the signing of another partnership agreement, this time with KS Raba Dobczyce. The club, which celebrated its centenary two years ago, trains teams across multiple age groups. Around 300 young players aged 5 to 18, the vast majority of whom are homegrown, hone their football skills in Dobczyce.
The history of youth training at the Dobczyce team began over 60 years ago. Currently, in addition to the older age groups, the club also trains younger players, for whom a football academy was established in 2011. Our new partner conducts training at facilities located in Dobczyce. Raba has a grass pitch, and work on an artificial turf pitch is expected to be completed soon. Most of the club's youth groups compete at the district level.
"We are very pleased to have entered into a partnership agreement with the Wisła Kraków Academy. Wisła Kraków has always been welcomed in the Dobczyce community, so I can say that even before signing the agreement, we felt part of the Wisła family. This is confirmed by the match organized for the centenary of Raba Dobczyce, in which we really wanted to face the White Star, which we ultimately achieved. When it comes to cooperation, we want to raise our sporting level as high as possible, primarily through our coaches participating in internships at Wisła Kraków and having our boys observed by Wisła coaches. I believe that this cooperation will bring a lot of positive results in terms of sporting and marketing for our club," said Tomasz Krasek, Vice President of KS Raba Dobczyce.
Welcome to the Wisła family!
