26 years ago – on May 29, 1999 – Wisła, led by coach Franciszek Smuda, defeated Pogoń Szczecin 4-0 thanks to two goals from Olgierd Moskalewicz and goals from Tomaszów: Frankowski and Kulawik. This was the final match of the 1998/99 season, in which the White Star regained the Polish Championship title after 21 years!
