Jop: The players did a great job
Kosovo's KF Llapi is Wisła Kraków's third friendly during their training camp in Turkey. The match was extended by the coaching staff, and the White Star proved superior in the match, beating their recent European rival 4-0.
"This friendly was another stage of preparation; it was a form of a big game against our opponent. We tried slightly different approaches to building our attacks. I think this match was valuable in that regard. We created a lot of chances, four of which we converted into goals," began coach Mariusz Jop. "The players' playing time was also slightly extended, so in terms of their motor skills, they put in a lot of work. So, the next stage is behind us. What was the reason for this? We wanted to give the players more minutes on the pitch to extend their workload. Of course, after playing 50 minutes, the players still had some time to balance their running. This served to achieve the set goal in terms of workload," he added.
Angel Rodado did not participate in the match, having returned to Krakow due to personal matters. "We know Angel's personal situation. She's close to giving birth, so she's been given permission to go home to support her fiancée," announced coach Mariusz Jop.
