Interleague. Victories for young Wisła players

The international Interleague competition has arrived in Krakow for the first time this season! In the second round, the U-12 and U-13 teams faced off against their peers from Banik Ostrava and Górnik Zabrze, emerging unscathed in all their matches.

The young White Star players can certainly consider the past round of the Interleague a success. The U-12 team showed excellent form in their opening match against Banik Ostrava. The Krakow team scored twice, defeating their opponents 2-0. Next came the clash with Górnik Zabrze, and again, the players led by coach Kordaszewski triumphed 6-3. The U-13s also had reason to be proud. Coach Paweł Wasilewski's men unleashed the scoring, defeating Banik Ostrava 6-1 and Górnik Zabrze 6-0.

"Regarding the match against Banik, while the beginning was relatively even, with each passing minute we gained the upper hand and greater control over the game. In the match against Górnik, we were the dominant team from the start, controlling the game and creating numerous scoring opportunities. I'm very pleased that the guys are implementing the aspects we work on in training during matches on the pitch," commented Paweł Wasilewski, head coach of the U-13 team.

"Once again, I was able to tell the boys in the locker room that I was very proud of their performance. They demonstrated Wisła Kraków's DNA with the ball, and without it as well – in the form of tenacity and fighting until the end. Watching their matches made me feel happy, and I can admit that I often struggled to keep up with the pace of their actions," said U-12 coach Marcin Kordaszewski.
