Interliga: Wisła four times better than the Czechs
The young players of the White Star once again participated in the international Interleague competition and proved their worth on the pitch. Wisła Kraków's U-12 and U-13 teams performed admirably, dominating their matches against Zbrojovka Brno and Sigma Olomouc.
U-13
Coach Paweł Wasilewski's players secured victory after a hard-fought match against Zbrojovka Brno, defeating their opponents 5-4. The match was full of twists and turns, but it was the visitors who were more effective in key moments, ultimately securing the victory.
In their next match, Wisła U-13 faced Sigma Olomouc, where they also emerged victorious, triumphing 2-1. The team demonstrated good organization and effective defense, resulting in a valuable second victory.
"I'm very pleased with the boys' performance in these matches. In both the matches against Zbrojovka Brno and Sigma Olomouc, we showed great maturity in our play and consistency in implementing our tactical assumptions. I'm pleased that the team was able to control the course of the matches and take advantage of their opportunities. We saw many good decisions, fast play, and commitment, which in this age group is crucial for the further development of players. Of course, we still have some room for improvement, but these victories show that we're heading in the right direction. This bodes well for the upcoming matches," said coach Wasilewski.
