Inaugural loss to Myszków
The White Star's first team faced Myszków away at noon on Sunday in the first round of the second league. The Krakow team was forced to concede superiority to their opponents, losing 2-1.
"Unfortunately, after winning the playoff match, we had to rearrange the match schedule. Several players were injured, and for Sunday, we had 14 players available from a 24-player squad. A short squad and a high-tempo game at 12:00 meant that our style of play also changed, and we focused more on midfield play than on bold attacks and high-level defense. Ultimately, we couldn't secure a 1-0 lead after Kinga Będkowska's goal, but despite the poor result, the girls deserved a big round of applause for their fight and commitment," concluded Tomasz Kaleta.
