On May 10, the youngest fans of the royal game will be able to compete against each other at R22 and compete in the 1st Chess Tournament for the Wisła Dragon Cup!

1st Chess Tournament for the Cup The Wisła Dragon will take place at the Henryk Reyman Municipal Stadium in Krakow May 10, 2025 and applies to children up to 8, 10, 12 and 14 years of age.

GAME SYSTEM AND ENTRY FEES

• Individual chess tournament played Swiss system over 7 rounds
• Pace of play: 10 minutes + 5 seconds per move
• Entry fee: PLN 19.06 payable by bank transfer by May 1, 2025.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

• Filling out the registration form on chessmanager.com and making entry fee until May 1, 2025
• Payment of the entry fee by May 1, 2025. by transfer to the account:

• All persons who will be marked on the list until the day before the tournament starting as paid (OK) will be associated in the first round of the tournament (there is no need to confirm arrival)

PRIZES (NOT COMBINED)

• Cups for places 1-3 (separately for boys and girls) in the groups up to 8, 10, 12 and 14 years old
• Prizes for places 1-5 in the groups up to 8, 10, 12 and 14 years of age 8. TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
• The tournament will be played in a round robin format Round by round. 10:00 – First round
• 10:40 – official opening of the Tournament
• 14:45 – end of the tournament (approx. 15 minutes after the last round).

JUDGING

• Main referee – FA Rafał Faron
• The decisions of the main judge are final

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• The number of places in the tournament is limited to 150, determined by the date of entry fee payment.
• Players are responsible for their own insurance for the duration of the tournament.
• Participation in the tournament is equivalent to granting the right to publish photos from the image of the competitors for the needs of the competition and the organizer.
• Persons (clubs) applying for invoices are asked to provide all data necessary for their issuance (name of the club/organization, exact address, Tax Identification Number) email address: [email protected]
• In the case of players who do not have an ELO rating, the organizers reserve the right to the right to verify the data provided by the competitor in the application;
• The paid entry fee is non-refundable;
• The final interpretation of the regulations rests with the organizer.
