We're playing for the Polish Cup! The decisive clash with Wieczysta
This is the final step. On Wednesday evening, Wisła Kraków's second-place team has a chance to win the Polish Cup at the Małopolska Football Association level. In the district final of the Polish Cup, coach Aleksandr Mikhailov's players will face Wieczysta Kraków's reserves. Kick-off at the Jagiellonian University campus at 12 Gronostajowa Street is scheduled for 8:00 PM.
The beautiful cup adventure of the second team of the White Star may be crowned on Wednesday evening with a triumph at the level of the Małopolska ZPN.
Wisła began their road to the final in the fourth round of the competition, where they defeated LKS Skała 2004 13-0. Then they defeated Wanda Kraków 4-1, and in the semi-finals they eliminated Pogoń Kraków, triumphing 3-1.
Wieczysta's reserves, meanwhile, had their way into the finals from the third round, when they dispatched Prokoci Kraków on penalties. Wieczysta then triumphed 3-0 over Świt Krzeszowice, and in the quarterfinals, they defeated Grębałowianka Kraków 10-0. Their final hurdle on the road to the final was a clash with Wiślani Skawina, the White Star's league rivals, whom they defeated 1-0.
