Filip Baniowski stays longer at Wisła Kraków
Filip Baniowski has decided to continue his career at Wisła Kraków. The 17-year-old midfielder will remain with the White Star until June 30, 2026, and his contract includes the option to extend for a further year.
Filip Baniowski was born on February 15, 2007, in Zakopane, and took his first steps in football at Wisła Kraków's partner club, AP Wisła Czarny Dunajec. He moved to Reymont in 2020, but had already participated in individual training sessions and training camps with the R22 club in the previous years, later joining the White Star's youth teams. In subsequent seasons, he successfully competed in the Central Junior League with Wisła's junior teams. His excellent form and skills were noticed not only by the first-team coaches, with whom he had the opportunity to train on numerous occasions, but also by national team coaches. Baniowski has also played in international tournaments in the U-17 and U-15 age groups.
This season he has already played 18 matches in the Betclic 3rd League and the regional Polish Cup, scoring two goals. He has also played three league matches for the CLJ U-19 team, scoring one goal in that age category.
Currently, Filip Baniowski, together with the first team, is preparing for the spring round of the Betclic 1 League.
Filip, we wish you good luck!
