Ecocups for R22

The decision to introduce eco-cups at the Henryk Reyman Municipal Stadium in Krakow is a step towards improving the quality of fan service and caring for the environment. And so it is! During the final match of the 2023/2024 season, White Star fans were able to use the system of deposit-refundable, reusable eco-cups, which will also be present at R22 during upcoming matches.

The mandatory directive on single-use plastic products, introduced on July 1, 2023, aims to reduce the use of the most polluting products, as well as all products made from oxo-degradable plastics and fishing gear containing plastic. According to estimates, single-use plastic products covered by this directive account for approximately 86% of single-use plastic products found on beaches in the European Union. Eco-cups ensure safe drinking and comfort. The cups are completely safe for health.

The eco-cups system is simple: when purchasing a drink, fans receive a cup, for which a refundable deposit is added. After consuming the drink, they can return the cup and receive the deposit, or, waiving the deposit, keep it. This allows fans to complete their eco-cups collection. The designs on the cups are unique, bringing with them Wisła memories. Anyone who owns a Wisła eco-cup at home can bring it to the stadium and exchange it for a new one free of charge by purchasing a drink at the catering point.

Reusable cups have been introduced in all catering sectors. The deposit is 15 PLN.
