Duda: It's great to be back in the game
Monday's match ended in a goalless draw for Wisła Kraków. One of the positives of the evening was the return of Kacper Duda after a long absence – the young midfielder's first minutes of the season.
After a several-month injury layoff, the Wisła Kraków player returned to the pitch for the final minutes. "There wasn't much time to get back, but I'm enjoying these first minutes of the season after such a break," Duda admitted. He also admits he needs some time to get back to optimal form: "I think I need to get more into the game personally. Time spent training with the team will be helpful; it's crucial for feeling the ball and understanding with teammates on the pitch."
The young midfielder was pleased to be back at the R22. "It's great to be back playing! It's a really great feeling, because you train and work your whole life to play football. After such a break, these minutes are truly delicious. I hope there will be more soon," he emphasized.
Wisła has a busy season ahead of them. We already know that the Kraków team will face Polonia Warszawa in the Polish Cup, a title the player recently won with his teammates. "A year ago, we also had Polonia Warszawa on our path, which later turned out to be a victorious one. We're going there – in both the league and the cup – to collect three points and advance to the next round. We're optimistic," concluded Kacper Duda.
