The second round of the CLJ U-19 and U-17! Wisła will face Stal Rzeszów and Hutnik Kraków

The second round of matches in the Central Junior League is upon us. On Saturday, August 16, 2025, both White Star youth teams will battle for further league points. Wisła U-19 will host Stal Rzeszów at 12:00 PM in Myślenice, at 9 Zdrojowa Street. The U-17 team will play an away derby against Kraków Hutnik, with kickoff at 2:00 PM at the stadium at 4b Tadeusza Ptaszyckiego Street.

U-19

This will be the first home match of the season for the U-19s. They started the season in the best possible way – with a 2-0 away win over Resovia Rzeszów, which moved them to 5th place in the table. Now the goal is to maintain their good start and pick up more points at home.

Their rivals, Stal Rzeszów, started the season with an away defeat, losing 3-1 to Znicz Pruszków in their opening match. The young players from Rzeszów will certainly be looking to break their losing streak and cause Wisła a lot of problems.

U-17

Wisła U-17 also kicked off their season with a home match against Resovia Rzeszów. The match ended in a 1-1 draw, leaving the team in 10th place after the first round. Now they face their first away game of the season, a derby clash with Hutnik. The stakes are clear: securing their first full set of points.

Hutnik Kraków faced Escola Varsovia away in their opening match, losing 3-0. Both teams have something to prove and will do everything they can to celebrate their first victory of the 2025/26 season on Saturday afternoon.
