The U-19 team is preparing for the 2025/26 season
The Wisła Kraków U-19 team returned to training, having started the preparation period for the upcoming league games on Monday, July 7.
Coach Patryk Jałocha's players began the week with an organizational briefing, a theoretical section, and their first training sessions in the gym and on the pitch. Despite the unfavorable weather, the team has been working intensively from the start, and in the coming days, the players will also undergo fitness tests and anthropometric measurements.
During preparations, several trial players also train with the team, giving them the opportunity to showcase their skills and compete for a place in the squad.
Wojciech Rak, on the other hand, is struggling with health problems and is undergoing rehabilitation and will return to training in due time.
The team during the preparation period includes:
Goalkeepers: Jakub Kowalski, Wojciech Rak
Defenders: Aleksy Rokosz, Konrad Furman, Szymon Urbanik, Kacper Trznadel, Dawid Szczepaniak
Midfielders: Antoni Wójcik, Kacper Gut, Eryk Daczewski, Filip Michałowski, Mateusz Kania, Kacper Symula, Mateusz Maszewski
Wingers/Forwards: Milan Olej, Michał Chramiec, Oliwier Pławiński, Bruno Skoczek, Łukasz Staniów, Jakub Czubernat
The team also saw the departure of two players who had reached their junior age and were not included in the second team squad: Kajetan Świętochowski and Wiktor Sierda. Maciej Szmydt and Jakub Janiszewski also decided to leave the club.
Changes have also been made to the coaching staff. Jałocha's team has been joined by motor skills coach Kamil Kozłowski, who will support the team in physical preparation.
Wisła's players will play several friendly matches during their preparations, which will provide an opportunity to test their tactical plans and form. Three friendly matches have been scheduled so far:
Tatran Presov – 12/07 (Saturday)
Silesia Wrocław – 18/07 (Friday)
Raków Częstochowa – July 26 (Saturday)
The league inauguration is scheduled for the second weekend of August.
