The U-17 team has started preparations for the 2024/2025 season

The Wisła Kraków U-17 team, led by coach Krystian Żakowicz, has also begun preparations for the new season. The team has returned to training and has been working intensively since the first few days.

During preparations, the team trains with a full squad. Several trialists also participate in the sessions, giving them the opportunity to showcase their skills to the coaching staff.

Michał Pałka, Karol Łakomy and Daniel Zdeb are struggling with minor health problems and will return to training with the team after completing their rehabilitation.

The U-17 team includes players who played for the U-17, U-16, and U-15 teams last season, as well as players who joined the academy in early July, including players from Garbarnia Kraków. The list of players participating in training in Myślenice includes:

Changes have also occurred in the coaching staff. Dawid Ślusarczyk has been appointed assistant coach, while a new member of the academy, Kuba Leśniak, is now responsible for motor skills. The team has also been supported by Tamara Pielas, who, as a sports psychologist, will now work with the U-19 team as well as the U-17 team.

During preparations, the team will play a series of friendly matches. The White Star will face five opponents from Poland and abroad, with the league competition scheduled to begin on the second weekend of August.
