Derby for Wisła II Kraków! Wisła beat Cracovia's second-place team in the 3rd League!

In Round 14 of the Betclic 3 League, Wisła II Kraków traveled to an away derby match against KS Cracovia II! Saturday's match ended in a derby triumph for Wisła Kraków!

The first half of the derby clash between Wisła II Kraków and Cracovia II was marked by physical, evenly matched play and cautious approaches from both teams. The home side enjoyed more possession, creating several dangerous chances, but Wisła goalkeeper Chichkan rose to the occasion each time. Wisła also had their chances, particularly a dangerous header from Skała following a corner, and a daring attempt from Tokarczyk, who boldly took a shot from halfway down the pitch, hoping to find the opposing goalkeeper. Despite several exciting moments, neither side was able to open the scoring, and the first half ended in a draw.

The second half of the derby began at a leisurely pace, with play largely confined to midfield. Both teams struggled to seize the initiative, but neither managed to create a clear-cut scoring opportunity. As the minutes ticked by, Wisła began to attack with increasing boldness, yielding results in the 82nd minute. After a foul on Tokarczyk, the referee pointed to the penalty spot, and the injured player confidently converted the penalty kick, giving Wisła the lead. The final moments of the match were filled with excitement, as Cracovia II pushed for an equalizer, while Wisła struggled to find the equalizer after Staszak received a second yellow card. Despite this, the White Star's second team maintained their lead until the final whistle, securing a valuable derby victory.
