#CzasNaBelek: Last test!
On Friday at 1:00 PM Polish time, Wisła will play their final match before returning to Poland. After winning two friendly matches in a row, Albert Rudé's men will try to extend their winning streak against Bulgarian club Arda Kardzhali.
In 2019, Arda secured its first-ever promotion to the Pyrwa PFL – Bulgaria's top-tier football competition, where it has competed continuously to this day. In the current season, the Kardzhali-based team sits comfortably in mid-table. With a slight improvement in their results in the spring round, they could even consider promotion to the championship group. So far, the "Blue Wolves" have accumulated 31 points from 20 matches, with 9 wins, 4 draws, and 7 losses. Like our players, their Bulgarian rivals are in the midst of intensive preparations for the second half of the season. This will also be their fourth meeting. So far, they have managed only one victory, only to suffer a loss and a draw in their subsequent matches.
Later this month, Aleksandar Tunchev's side will face CSKA Sofia in the quarterfinals. Reaching the semifinals would be the club's best result in history, as well as a key factor in positively assessing the season as a whole. Therefore, we can be sure that their Bulgarian opponents will approach their upcoming match with full commitment and focus.
As our recent matches have shown, Wisła are at their best when they can control the game and attack. With each successive match, the new coach's work becomes increasingly evident. The players themselves are seeing the results of their diligent work and are striving to implement the new tactical guidelines to the best of their ability. We're all hoping for a fantastic spectacle, with Wisła showing a strong performance and a victory to conclude the camp in Turkey.
