#CzasNaBelek: Second test

On Saturday, January 27th, at 2:00 PM, Wisła Kraków will host their second friendly match of their ongoing training camp in Belek, Turkey. This time, the White Star players will face Kazakhstan's FK Atyrau, whom they previously tested their mettle against during last year's preparations.

The match ended in a 1-1 draw, with Dawid Szot scoring the goal for Wisła.

However, it's worth re-introducing our closest rival – FK Atyrau, a club playing in the Premier League – the highest tier of football competition in Kazakhstan. Last season, which concluded in late October, the Atyrau team finished mid-table, amassing 34 points from 26 matches. Our opponent fared slightly better in the national cup race, ending their run in the competition only in the semifinals.

FK Atyrau will be just starting their new league season in the coming months. They are likely at a completely different stage of preparation, but like Albert Rudé's side, this will be their second match after a long break. Interestingly, their first match, interestingly enough, was against ŁKS Łódź a few days ago, losing 1-0.

At times, the Kazakhs fought on equal terms with the Ekstraklasa team, even forcing the Łódź team to the defensive. We expect them to bring just as much commitment and sporting ambition to the Wisła team against them, providing the coaching staff with valuable data for analysis.
