#CzasNaBelek: Test with the Danes on Turkish soil

After Wisła's convincing victory in their last friendly, it's time for another test. On Tuesday at 12:30 PM Polish time, Albert Rudé's men will face Kolding IF of Denmark.

Our closest rival is currently a newcomer to the NordicBet Liga, the equivalent of our first division. The Danes have collected 25 points in 18 league rounds, placing them in sixth place. Their current position is rewarded by participation in the group fighting for promotion to the Superligaen, the Danish Ekstraklasa. As is typical for football competitions, they also participated in cup competitions throughout the season. Kolding didn't progress particularly well, being eliminated in the Round of 32. However, along the way, they put on a showdown, defeating FC Avrasya by a resounding 19-1 in the first round.



Kolding IF faces a very ambitious goal. Advancing year after year in the football leagues is undoubtedly an extremely difficult undertaking, but it's certainly achievable. The players themselves seem to share their belief in this success, having kicked off the preseason ahead of the return of the league with a bang. They've won all three friendlies so far. Also noteworthy, two of them came against teams from the aforementioned Superligaen – Nordsjælland and Odense.



Coach Rudé will be able to send players into battle, who will undoubtedly strive to make the most of their playing time and earn a place in the starting lineup. Each friendly also provides the coaching staff with an opportunity to put their practiced tactics to the test, which significantly helped us put the ball into the opponent's net twice last time.

Wisła's players face what is likely their toughest test since arriving in Belek. Kolding IF is a team very similar to us in many respects. We're hoping that the similar league standings and bold ambitions of both teams will herald nothing less than a fantastic spectacle.
