Four goals for three points: Wisła - Górnik Łęczna 4:0
Wisła followed up their victory in the Polish Cup by defeating Górnik Łęczna 4-0 in front of their home fans. Goku scored twice and Szymon Sobczak scored twice.
The R22 players entered Sunday's match with a change in goal. Kamil Broda found the net between the posts and kept a clean sheet.
Wisła dominated from the start, coming out on top and forcing the visitors to defend. After fifteen minutes, coach Ireneusz Mamrot's players got going, even scoring a goal, but the Kraków team was caught offside, leaving the score at 0-0.
Three minutes later, a proper goal was scored, this time for Wisła. Szymon Sobczak played a well-placed pass to Goku, who opened the scoring with a low shot. Sobczak had two more chances before the break, but couldn't beat Woźniak.
We had to wait until the second half for another goal, although the visitors made their presence felt in the opening stages. Coach Mariusz Jop sent on Miki Villar and Patryk Gogół, which ignited the White Star's attack.
The 67th minute brought the second goal for the Kraków side, who secured their second. Sobczak got on the scoresheet, and six minutes later he again caused trouble for the Łęczna goalkeeper, converting a penalty kick after a foul by Lukas Klemenz.
The final straw for the R22 players was in extra time, when Goku set the score at 4-0.
