Broda: It's important to get all the points
Wisła Kraków triumphs again. This time, in the second round of the first league season, the White Star faced ŁKS Łódź at home, leaving no doubt as to which team deserved full points. Wisła Kraków comfortably won 5-0. After the game, we spoke with our goalkeeper, Kamil Broda.
The Wisła Kraków goalkeeper expressed his joy at the strong start to the first league campaign. "It's great to have two convincing victories at the start of the season. We played a very good match today, and let's hope it continues in the coming games," Broda began.
Wisła's team played a very good match, scoring five goals against their opponents. The White Star goalkeeper was pleased with the turn of events, emphasizing, however, that the three points were the most important thing. "I wish every match ended like today's. The most important thing is that we win as a team, and that's what matters most. It could even end up 4-3; the important thing is to collect all three points," he continued.
Kamil Broda also commented on the opponent's play, which threatened Wisła's goal several times, and the concentration the defense had to maintain despite the White Star's advantage. "There were a few squabbles in our penalty area, but I have to admit that today we looked very good defensively and cut off the opponent's attacks quite quickly," he said, adding, "Concentration must always be at the highest level. It's important to live every moment on the pitch, communicate, and never lose focus of the game, because sometimes you can lose a meter or two and miss the ball," he noted.
In today's match, Wisła Kraków played very well both defensively and offensively, preventing ŁKS from spreading their wings in many situations. "From my perspective, our play looked good. We chose good moments to press and, as a team, moved well, preventing our opponents from gaining the upper hand in many situations," he said, also adding, "I think we created a lot of chances in today's match, but it's worth highlighting our high level of effectiveness. I don't know how many chances we had exactly, but the boys deserve congratulations for converting four in less than 40 minutes, and I wish it could happen more often."
Despite the high victory, the Wawel team's goalkeeper toned down the mood, saying, "Relax, we're focusing on each of the next matches. In each match, you can get three points, which are equally important," he concluded.
