Bruno Skoczek signs a professional contract
Bruno Skoczek joined the ranks of players who have recently decided to commit their footballing future to the White Star. The young Wisła player signed his first professional contract with the club, which runs until June 30, 2027.
Born on January 7, 2008, Bruno Skoczek began his journey with the White Star in 2021. The young striker, then playing for the Wisła Kraków Football Academy's partner club, the Staniątki Football School, was invited by Wisła representatives for a trial, which led to him joining the U-14 team and—as it turned out—staying with Reymont for a long time. In subsequent seasons, he donned a Wisła jersey, competing with the U-15 team in the Central Junior League. This season, he is joining the U-17 team led by coach Patryk Jałocha. This season, he has featured in 18 matches, scoring four goals.
An important step
Signing a professional contract is a crucial step in 16-year-old Bruno Skoczek's football career. The player spoke about his feelings about signing his first contract with the club and expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to play with the white star on his chest, thus fulfilling his childhood dreams.
"I'm incredibly happy to have signed my contract today, as it's the fulfillment of my childhood dreams and a motivation to continue working hard. The opportunity to play for Wisła Kraków is a great honor, but it also brings new sporting challenges that I'm eagerly awaiting. Thank you very much for your trust and the opportunity I've been given, and I can promise that I'll do my best not to disappoint the coach, the team, and, of course, myself," he said.
Bruno Skoczek's U-17 team started the current season well and is continuing their winning streak this season, notching up further victories. The player revealed a bit about the atmosphere within the team and spoke about his relationships with his teammates and members of the coaching staff. "I have to admit, I feel great in the team. There's a very good atmosphere within the team, and that also influences our results. If I have any problems, I know I can always count on help from the coach, the staff, or my teammates, which is very important to me," he added.
Both the entire team and the player himself have clearly defined goals. The team will rise to the occasion to compete for the top spot in the Central Junior League, and the young player intends to fully commit to training, honing his form. The young Wisła player also mentioned his dreams of joining the White Star's first team. "What's the goal? I don't think it will surprise anyone if I say that our main goal in the current season is to win the Central Junior League U-17 championship. As for individual goals, it will certainly be to improve my skills so that in the future I can train and play for the Wisła Kraków first team," he announced.
Bruno, congratulations and good luck!
