Bąk: We respect this point

The second-placed White Star team faced Wiślany Skawina away in their 8th round of the Betclic III League. The Kraków team ultimately had to share the points with their rivals, drawing 1-1. Wisła Kraków's reserve team coach, Bartosz Bąk, praised their players' performance.

Wisła Kraków had managed to break their unbeaten streak in recent matches, but now the Kraków team was forced to settle for just one point. Friday's match wasn't easy for the White Star players, but the visitors created numerous opportunities to tip the scales in their favor. As the coach recalls, a single point leaves a slight sense of dissatisfaction, but it should be treated with respect.

"In the first half, we were close to our style of play. We controlled the ball in the opponent's half and created several opportunities to score. With better play, we could have had better chances to score. As time went on, the opponents pushed us out of their positional attacks more effectively. I think we deserved to take the lead in the first half, but the opponents equalized after a long-range shot. The second half was dominated by transitional phases, and there was no shortage of chances for both sides. We could have tried to score more goals because we had the chance, whether it was when one of our players hit the post or in a 4v3 situation, when we launched a quick attack. We also have to give credit to the opponent for being dangerous in those phases of the match. We respect that point, although there is a slight disappointment after the end of the match, when we were in the lead. I expected a more direct game from the team at that point, but that's not entirely natural for us, and there wasn't much time left in the match," said the coach.
